- AMPERE: The unit of electric current.
- WATT: The unit of power given by the product of
the voltage and the current.
- KILOWATT HOUR: A unit of work or energy equal to that expended by one kilowatt in one hour.
- HORSEPOWER: A non-metric unit equal to 746 watts.
- OHM: The unit of electrical resistance equal to
the resistance of a circuit in which a potential
difference of one volt produces a current of one ampere.
- VOLT: The unit of force given by the pressure
which causes a current of one ampere to flow through
