Our catalog is quick and easy to use; our item offerings are divided into four main sections. Within each section, the items are arranged in order by product group number. The items contained in each product group are then displayed in alphanumeric order by the item description. For a complete list of product group names and numbers, please refer to the Product Group Listing.

This module is designed to allow you to easily browse through our catalog and review the wide range of products available through Industrial Supply Company. A brief description of the four main sections follows:

Pipe, Valves, & Fittings product groups 1000-1999:
Some items found here are steel pipe, copper tubing & fittings, plastic pipe & fittings, bronze & iron valves, nipples, weld fittings, Apollo valves, plus black, cast iron, and galvanized fittings.

Plumbing Supplies & Fixtures product groups 2000-2999:
Some product lines in this section are faucets, sinks, tubs, showers, closets, pumps, plumbing valves, water coolers, and water heaters.

Heating & Air Conditioning Materials product groups 3000-3999:
Items offered in this section include relief valves, furnaces, controls, duct work, furnace fittings, boilers, and circulators.

Industrial Supplies product groups 4000-4999:
Listed in this section is a large variety of products like abrasive materials, cutting tools, hand tools, pipe tools, electric tools, air tools, saw blades, fasteners, safety supplies, compounds, paint, and carbide products.

B. ITEM FIELDS EXPLAINED:

Each of the items in our online catalog consists of seven fields. These fields are explained in detail below. Please be aware that we have used abbreviations in many of these fields due to lack of space. You may view an Abbreviation List Cross Reference Table to allow you to easily decipher these abbreviations.

item description:

This field actually describes the item and includes all major information pertinent to identifying the item. The description begins with the generic name of the item and is then followed by more detailed information such as type, size, specification, color, etc.

Example: A 1/2 inch by close black standard weight nipple is listed as "NIPPLE BLK STD 1/2 x CL".

isco item code:

This field represents Industrial Supply's part number for the item. In most cases, the manufacturer's part number has been incorporated into our item code. Each item listed in our catalog has a unique item code. An "*" at the very beginning of the item code denotes that this item is a non-stock item. A manufacturer prefix ID of two to four characters appears at the front of each item code.

An Item Code / Manufacturer Cross Reference Table is provided to allow you to easily identify the manufacturer of each item. It is preferred that all inquiries to Industrial Supply reference our item code to allow us to process your requests as quickly as possible.

unit:

This field represents the unit of measure by which an item is sold.

The following unit abbreviation table shows the 2-character unit code found in our catalog along with the unit of measure:

price/ut:

This field represents your net price for the item. This price does not reflect possible quantity break pricing that might be available, promotional pricing, or any special blanket order contract pricing.

additional description:

This field is used to show any additional information about the item that would not fit on the main description line. Please note that not all items will have information in this field.

weight:

This field represents the approximate weight of one unit of the item. An entry of "0.00" denotes that either the weight figure was unavailable or was not applicable to the item.

D. HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER.

You may use our online catalog to place your order or you can download our convenient and easy-to-use fax order form to prepare your order. Feel free to make as many extra copies of this form as needed, or you may request additional order forms from your sales representative. When you call or fax your order, our sales people will verify prices and availability of items. You may also give your orders directly to your sales representative or mail them to P.O. Box 179, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47808-0179.

If you call before 3 p.m. Eastern time (note: this section of Indiana does not currently observe Daylight Savings Time) and the products you want are in stock, then we will ship your order by UPS that same day. If you are in a rush situation, you can specify overnight delivery at an additional charge. Also, on the majority of our non-stock product offerings, we are able to have your order shipped directly to you from the manufacturer's plant if you so choose.

Also, please note that there may be minimum order requirements, such as ordering in manufacturer's carton quantities, on some of the non-stock items in our catalog. Our sales people will inform you of any such requirements when you place your order or inquiry; they will also inform you of an estimated date of delivery on any non-stock items you desire to purchase. There are no minimum order requirements when placing orders for stock items.
